Rail Excavators
Hydrema Rail Excavators are hi-rail versions of the wheeled excavator range, built for rail track maintenance, signal pit excavation, ballast cleaning and rail corridor civil work.
Like the wheeled excavator base machine, they travel at road speed between work sites under their own power, then deploy hi-rail wheels to travel along the track to the work zone. Once on site, outriggers stabilise the machine for safe, accurate digging without the disruption of removing track.
